Visit Vaison-la-Romaine

The city of Vaison-la-Romaine is 2,000 years of open-air history. Walk the streets of the upper town to discover the remains of the city. Mont Ventoux

Just 25 kilometers by road from our guest house in Vaison-la-Romaine, discover what we call the “Giant of Provence”, Mont Ventoux. Climb this symbol of the region by car, bicycle, motorbike or on foot. At the top, at an altitude of 1,910 meters, you will get one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the region. You will observe: the Signal de Lure, the chain of the Alps, the Mediterranean Sea, the Cévennes, the Massif Central, the Pyrenees and Notre Dame de la Garde in Marseille.

Laces of Montmirail

The charming Dentelles de Montmirail mountain range is a paradise for lovers of outdoor activities, wine tasting, climbing and hiking. Ask us for a hiking or walking tour. We will advise you on a trail in line with your desires and your level.

Toulourenc Valley

At the foot of Mont Ventoux, discover the Toulourenc Valley. This little corner of paradise is reminiscent of Colorado. This charming stream of several kilometers, offers superb swimming spots, remarkable hikes and breathtaking landscapes. Your host will share his good addresses with you.

Nyons

Located in the Drôme Provençale, come and discover the village of Nyons, the capital of olive oil. With its olive groves as far as the eye can see, you will be under the spell of Nyons. We advise you that too few to taste its olives and its AOC olive oil. Leave with a souvenir of Provence!

Wine route

Around our guest house in Vaison la Romaine, there are many wine-growing villages: Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Beaumes-de-Venise, etc. From May to June, these villages come alive and welcome you around a theme: wine. Tasting routes will take you through these villages, wineries and wines so that you can discover the unique know-how of the region.

Village of Séguret

Discover one of the most beautiful villages in Provence, the village of Séguret, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Between the vines, the village of Séguret dominates the region with the tower of its old medieval castle. During your visit to Séguret, you will discover the Porte Reynier, the remains of the fortifications, the Mascarons fountain, the wash house, the belfry and the Romanesque church of Saint-Denis.
